UUFCO Social Justice participates in the UUA Congregational Study Action Issues (CSAIs). These issues are nominated by UU congregations and selected at the annual assembly as worthy of in depth study. Learn more on the UUA webpage for CSAIs. Each CSAI lasts for four years and a new one is selected every two years. Recent CSAIs are:

2014 -2018: Escalating Economic Inequity was the starter for Project Grace
2016 - 2020: The Corruption of our Democracy was part of Building Democracy
2018 - 2022 : Undoing Intersectional White Supremacy; awaiting local action

UUFCO, participates in the UUA common read. Each year, the Unitarian Universalist Common Read is chosen by a committee including both headquarters and field staff of the UUA. Anyone may nominate a book. Read more at the UUA webpage for the common read.

The 2018-19 Common Read is Justice on Earth: People of Faith Working at the Intersections of Race, Class, and Environment, edited by Manish Mishra-Marzetti and Jennifer Nordstrom (Skinner House Books, 2018). At a time when racial justice, environmental justice, and economic justice are seen as issues competing for time, attention, and resources, Justice on Earth explores the ways in which the three are intertwined.

Another organization which does important Social Justice work and has been supported by UUFCO is the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC).
